The Weald & Downland Living Museum at Singleton has underlined its intention to reopen as soon as it can.

Simon Wardell, museum director, said: “Following the recent government announcement, the Weald & Downland Living Museum has chosen to close for this period of national lockdown to protect our community and support wider efforts to contain Covid-19.

“Our intention is to honour the spirit of the lockdown by dissuading unnecessary travel and limiting contact between individuals for this 28-day period. We want to play our part in reducing the spread of the virus and to help keep people safe.
