Worthing United boss: £6 for nine goals? That has to be good value
Worthing United bounced backed from a 6-0 drubbing by Littlehampton to win a nine-goal thriller against Kent based Greenways and advance to the second qualifying round of the FA Vase.
After taking a third minute lead when Calum Thoms scored direct from a corner, United found themselves 3-1 down within 20 minutes, before a second from Thoms from the spot, on 29 minutes and an equaliser from Callum Wells three minutes later.
Albert Ellis struck on 51 minutes to put the Mavericks back in front, with Dan Hills giving the Maverick a two-goal cushion on 76.
