VIDEO: Crawley Town manager John Gregory gives his reaction to win at Barnsley
He praised the way they played in the first half, the result and their performance.
Gregory said: “Overall I was really really pleased both with the outcome and the performance. We had 17 new signings and they all backed each other up very well. Even our babies (Bobson Bawling and Charles Banya) didn’t let the side down.”

“It’s never easy playing against ten men. We made sure they didn’t abuse the privilege of having an extra player and if we had used the ball a little bit better we could have made it easier for ourselves in the last 15 minutes.
“I thought our back-four played very well and obviously Brian Jensen made a brilliant save from Dale Jennings in the first half which could have easily have gone into the top corner.”
He added: It’s always good to get your first win under your belt and our first away win.”
