As Crawley were brushed aside by an impressive Oldham, Jack Butler rates the players on a disappointing afternoon at the People’s Pension Stadium.
1. Glenn Morris 7
Conceded four but if we are honest he stopped it being comical. Two great saves early on, and from a free kick in the second half. Morris has made the most saves in League Two this season, but really needs some help from those in front.
2. George Francomb 6
Pushed on and was punished when Borthwick-Jackson doubled Oldham’s lead . The skipper was subbed shortly after Oldham hit their third of the afternoon.
3. Joe McNerney 5.5
Looked to struggle when Whelan was through in behind, however he made his ground and snuffed out the chance in the 1v1. Unfortunately, he was exposed for first two goals and was subbed at half time.
4. Tony Craig 5.5
Battled hard but struggled with Oldham’s pace in behind. Even with three centre backs, Crawley looked all over the place at the back and struggled to deal with Oldham’s attackers. Booked for a poor challenge.
