After a great start to the season over the weekend 12th/13th April by local driver Edward Cockill from Uckfield with a dominant drive in Class D saw him take the chequered flag in both rounds of the Jam-Sport Fiesta Championship at Silverstone.

On Easter weekend Sunday 20th April Edward Edward travelled to the famous Norfolk track Snetterton for Round 2 of the Ford Fiesta Championship looking to repeat his first round success which he did with ease winning both rounds yet again.

After a good test day on the Friday setting lap record pace things were looking good. With new tyres for qualifying Edward went out a showed his hand. Beating his nearest competitors to pole by over 1.6 seconds. With this sort of dominance in qualifying it was all looking good for the first race.

Race 1 In typical British fashion the weather completely changed for the first race. The heavens opened and the track was now very slippery. After some deliberation the HE Racing/ Daniels Motorsport team made there decision to stick Edward out on a complete dry set up. The track was still damp so the team had told Edward that the car would take a couple of laps to get heat into the tyres. He got away from the line cleanly and never looked back pulling nearly ten seconds in the first three laps. As the car came to him the times tumbled and the gap to second extended to 24 seconds at the end of the race.
