Crowhurst Park’s dream of playing at Lord’s in the National Village Cup final is over.

The East Sussex area champions exited the prestigious knockout competition in the last 32 after being beaten away to Buckinghamshire-based outfit Dinton CC on Sunday.

Park got themselves into a good position with the bat, passing 100 from 22 overs with Martin Barry (75) in fine form. However they couldn’t build on their start, ending their innings on 169. Dinton reached their target with around 12 overs to spare.
