Witness appeal after man steals ski gear worth £370
The man in his 40s, who is white, of slim build and around 6ft, and has white hair, went into the Trespass store in Montague Street just after 1pm on Sunday (November 27), police said.
He was wearing a black jacket and gloves and carrying a rucksack, police confirmed.

Hide AdThe man picked out a number of jackets including a medium size Icon DLX ski jacket in blue with mottled grey shoulders and a black Wallis DLX SoftShell jacket with blue zips.
A spokesperson from Sussex Police said he took them into a changing room and emerged a short time later, making straight for the door where he set off a security alarm.
Staff tried to chase the man, but he disappeared into a busy crowd of shoppers with the garments.
