Video: Mayor joins surfers in beach clean
The mayor of Brighton and Hove teamed up with Surfers Against Sewage to tidy up the coastline last week.
Cllr Pete West helped with the Big Beach Spring Clean at Hove Lawns, walking in the heat collecting rubbish with a picker.
Taking part for the eighth time since January, he cleared up rubbish and spoke of the impact littering has on the environment.
