Pictures: Annual Steyning shop window competition
The competition showcased the very best creative designs along the High Street on Saturday, closing the Steyning and District Food and Drink Festival.
Jack Dunckley, an RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court award winning garden designer and owner of Birchfield Nurseries in Henfield, had the difficult task of judging the event.

Hide AdWith two categories covering both ‘Foodie’ and ‘non-Foodie’ establishments, teams dedicated themselves to creating an eye-catching window based around the subject of food.
Armed with a clipboard, Jack and the organising group made their way up the High Street along with Mike Warren from Steyning Camera Club.
Because of the high quality of entries Jack added a Highly Commended Award.
The Steyning and District Business Chamber sponsored the prizes, and the winners in the ‘Foodie Category’ were:

Hide Ad1: Truffles; 2: The Little Sweetshop; 3: Chez Joel; Highly Commended: The Model Bakery.
The winners in the ‘Non-Foodie’ Category were: 1: Oxfam; 2: Vintage Home; 3: Spotted; Highly Commended: The Gallery in Cobblestone Walk.
