The 100-year-old became a national hero last year, when he raised almost £33million for the NHS, by doing laps of the garden at his home.

Captain Sir Tom was taken to Bedfordshire Hospital on Sunday after being treated for pneumonia for some time.
He had not been able to receive his coronavirus vaccination because of this, and tested positive for covid-19 last week.
