Easter celebrations at Castlewood
The children took part in an Easter Assembly which told the Easter story from Shrove Tuesday through to Easter Sunday. Pupils spoke, acted and sang to an enthusiastic audience of family and friends.
SOCS, Supporters of Castlewood School, organised an Easter egg decorating competition for each class. Children boiled, blew and decorated eggs which were displayed in the Reference Library. Leading Judge, Julia Slocombe, Headteacher, said: “It was a difficult job as all entries were of a very high standard. Eventually, we came to a decision but it took a long time!” Winners received an Easter egg provided by SOCS.
