Mary was shot in the head by her father, Yasser Alromisse, of Broomfield Avenue, Worthing, outside her home in Northiam, East Sussex, on September 11 – she died in hospital the following day. After firing two shots, Alromisse returned to his car and turned the gun on himself. Ms Shipstone said: “She’s had her life snatched away from her so cruelly when there was so much promise. I would like people to remember her little smiling face. She was such a happy child.” For the full story, see the Worthing Herald, Thursday, September 25.
