MP says Post Office '˜should have listened' to Bognor residents
He said: “It is deeply disappointing that Post Office Limited intend to close the Crown Post Office in Bognor Regis and tuck the post office counter into the premises of WH Smith.
“Public opinion has been overwhelmingly opposed to such a decision and I believe strongly that, as a publicly owned corporation, Post Office Limited should have listened to those views.”

The MPs comments follow the public forum, held yesterday (August 11) at Regis Centre. Public consultation on the proposals runs until September 14 and customers can take part by phone, on-line or by post.
