Milestone reached in West Sussex hospital reorganisation
Six different options have gone forward for further consideration under the Fit for The Future reorganisation of the county's health services, with a final choice due to be made public in July.
Key points which emerged at the meeting were:
* A review of health services in the north of the county will be carried out.

Hide Ad* A new acute hospital at Pease Pottage has been ruled out as unsustainable.
*The feasibility of re-instating A&E services at Crawley Hospital will be looked at during the review.
*The Princess Royal Hospital is likely to lose its maternity services, other than post and ante natal clinics.
*Although A&E departments could be retained at all three hospitals, the services will not be as we know them now.
