The brew will be available from March 24 when Noble Jacks will perform a ticket-only show in Harvey’s Brewery yard as part of their album launch celebrations. Noble Jacks, whose intoxicating brand of foot-stomping folk and endearing live reputation has brought them a sizeable fanbase and notable media attention, are set the release their long-awaited debut album, What The Hammer on March 24 on Union Music Store. Recorded at The Metway Studio in Brighton – the same studio as The Levellers – and produced by Jamie Freeman, What The Hammer captures both the roof-raising passion and boundless energy of the quartet’s live shows alongside impeccable musicianship and beautifully-crafted uptempo folk songs. The album follows on from the well-received EP ‘Gun Hill’. The band are led by the fiddle-playing Will Page, with Matt Deveson on bass and Ant Longhurst on guitar.
