Hide AdMiss Müller, a third-year International Events Management student at the University of Brighton’s Eastbourne campus, had been reported missing from the psychiatric ward of Mill View hospital, in Hove, at around 10pm on Thursday, March 12.
The 21-year-old’s body was found the following day in the boot of a Volkswagen Jetta parked in Rusper Road, near Ifield Golf Club.
A post-mortem examination on the body, which had suffered extensive fire damage, revealed the cause of death as smoke inhalation, suggesting Miss Müller was alive when the car was set alight.
