Man’s body found in Ifield

The body of a man was found in Ifield yesterday (Wednesday August 20), Sussex Police has confirmed.

A statement from Sussex Police said: “Just before 2pm on Wednesday 19 August the body of a local man was found hanging in wasteland near Overdene Drive, Ifield, Crawley.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.

“The coroner has been informed to arrange a post mortem and inquest in due course.”
