Billingshurst man acquitted of attempted murder
Mark Burstow, 39, a handyman, of Pond Close, Billingshurst, has been acquitted of attempted murder at Lewes Crown Court.
He was sentenced to eight months imprisonment for a lesser charge of causing actual bodily harm on November 29, the Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed.
Burstow will also be subject to a restraining order until further notice, a CPS spokesman added.
