Since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Sussex has been generally falling, according to Government figures.
The latest statistics show the number of confirmed cases has fallen in every area of the county, according to Public Health England.
Some parts have seen their infection rate fall below the national average for the first time in weeks.
Here we reveal which areas have seen the biggest drop in cases between January 17 and January 23.
1. Lewes

The number of confirmed cases in Rother has fallen by 21%, from 368 down to 289 for the week ending January 23
3. Hastings
The number of confirmed cases in Hastings has fallen by 22%, from 459 down to 360 for the week ending January 23
4. Crawley
The number of confirmed cases in Crawley has fallen by 25%, from 797 down to 594 for the week ending January 23
