Some 100 south east residents will gain free access to FutureFit’s careers guidance platform until the end of January 2021. This comes as part of the Local Enterprise Partnerships’s efforts to bolster skills and training for adults in the wake of the impact caused by Covid-19.
FutureFit is an AI-powered intelligence platform and is said to allow people to make faster, smarter and more successful career transitions. The partnership with FutureFit is hoped to support residents who have been impacted by recent furloughs or redundancies.

James Wilkinson, south east Digital Skills Partnership coordinator, said, “We’re really excited to be working with the team at FutureFit to get this opportunity out to residents affected by the Covid outbreak, helping them to better understand their skills gaps, the career pathways open to them in the south east and, thanks to FutureFit’s data sets and resulting insight, the real-time opportunities.”
CEO Hamoon Ekhtiari, the FutureFit founder, said, “The DSP is exactly the type of model and approach that is necessary to help people deal with impacts of Covid as well as broader disruptions to the labour market by combining regional depth and context with global tools and resources through efforts like this.”
