Future of Midhurst town centre building is revealed
A popular independent deli is set to open a new branch at Rothermere, a Grade II listed terraced building in North Street.
Madeleine’s Kitchen has already been running for five years in Petersfield and is now set to open its second deli in Midhurst towards the end of March.

Hide AdIt will offer authentic freshly cooked food ranging from Greek spanakopita, Moroccan lamb pies, Singapore curry puffs to quiches, frittatas and many other items, including classic takeaway deli sandwiches.
Locally roasted coffee from Mark Goulding of Winchester Coffee Roasters will be available to purchase as well as a range of cheeses.
The garden area will provide outdoor seating for warmer months.
Kathryn Rodbert and Antonia Troth, Madeleine’s Kitchen founders, said: “What started as a discussion outside of the school gates has turned into a popular and successful deli and kitchen shop and we are excited to be opening our second shop in Midhurst.

Chris Bickle from Savills Southampton, which agreed the letting, said: “Midhurst is an attractive area, not just in terms of its property and amenities, but also its commercial potential.
“Such locations have always been popular but demand for hospitality properties has increased noticeably in the last 12 months, particularly in market towns in the southern region.”
